Staff did their best, I think, but seemed really poorly trained. we had both dinner & breakfast in hotel, advice, just AVOID. It was very central & beautiful view of Scott monument. However if you had any thought of sleep in this hotel it really was a figment of pure imagination. I asked for a very quiet room. so I faced the railway station with street parties & police sirons until 5:00 am or so. No double glazing, no noise insulation so all other guests coming & going was like somebody entering your room. Then roadworks started about 8:00 am which literally vibrated the room. NO SLEEP for two nights
