We got needed a ground floor room because the elevators weren’t working and my mom can’t go upstairs. the nice man running the front desk basically said “ no problem!” and put us in an upgraded room downstairs since they didn’t have anything else available. That level of service just doesn’t usually exist anymore. The accommodations are nice and perfect for us. we don’t travel because we want to spend all day in our hotel room but this room was amazing. It was clean with 2 large beds, a fireplace, arm chairs and a small separate twin!! It was prefect for our family! We will be staying here from now on and next time I will pay for this upgraded room. It’s not that much more and it’s worth it for the extra space if you have a family! The location is great. You can easily walk through all of Solvang and back to the hotel. The breakfast was lovely! Its simple but there are danishes, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, hard boiled eggs, and coffee. Even my picky kids got full. This is a great choice for families but really anyone would be happy with this excellent hotel!!!
