Hotel pick up bus was small and inadequate for the volume of customers. Each time he returned he parked in a different spot which meant despite being at the front of the line, he collected customers who had just joined the line. Despite the hotel being within sight of the terminal there were no footpaths or pedestrian facilities which would have been far preferable to a bus transfer. Hotel check in had only two staff on the desk, a situation which could have been vastly improved by offering advance online check in. Despite landing at midnight, we didn’t get to our room until after 2am. A memorably bad start to our trip to New Zealand.
