Very nice egyptian themed hotel close to old Dubai and close to downtown. When choosing an area in Dubai you can choose Marina, Old Dubai or downtown. If you choose Raffles you're not in any of those but at the same time close to all of them, except Marina. So if you plan to travel around and see everything it can be a good choice. If you want to stay where you are and explore the area nearby it's not so convenient. Quite dead around the hotel itself. Pool is very nice, but the SPA is gender separated and that's quite boring. Rooms are fantastic and huge. Lobby is amazing. Great service. Nice restaurants but expensive, and quality not so impressive. The Japanese restaurant Tomo is allegedly famous, but doesn't deliver according to its reputation and price.

Excellent stay, very friendly staff in the hotell, 100% satisfied indeed at our first stay in this hotel. Very nice swimming pool with very fast service of drink-refreshments and excellent meal in room service dining.
