Parkview Ratchaprarop isn't a very big hotel if that's what you're expecting. It's more of a neighborhood hotel operated by just about three people over at the front desk but nevertheless, the stay was nothing short of awesome. It was on a serene location, away from all the hustle and bustle of the city despite being somewhat overhead a flyover. Getting to and from the area by walking was a bit of a chore especially since time was of the essence of the trip but I figured a little over a dollar for a cab isn't much to save me the hassle and time. :) What I didn't expect was how big the room was! Totally love at first sight when I opened the door. It was so clean and homey unlike most hotels. There's enough room to move and put the luggages and all the stuff around. Bathroom was relatively clean and well-maintained though there's little floor space. I also appreciate that the receiptionist people could understand English better than the staff at another much known hotel. What I think they can improve on was providing housecleaning on a daily basis or probably every other day. Bottled water could be handed out by the front desk or left outside the room so we don't have to ask them for it as well. The pool uses salt water and is probably one of the most relaxing pools I've tried. What a reward after a long day of shopping! Arrived early for check-in but they gave the option to deposit the luggages. Also the front desk guy helped with the luggage when it was time to say goodbye. Bonus, loved that there are Instagrammable spots in the hotel. :) Would definitely recommend and consider it again when I go back to Bangkok.
