rooms serviced well and recently renovated, pools were good, but gardens looked tired
great location and great price. 5 mins from the esplanade and a third of the price of the waterfront hotels. regular bus services from the front doorstep. great pool area freshly renovated rooms.
Poor. Advertised as free wi-fi only to learn there is no wi-fi service in the rooms allocated, only around the pool and reception area which is closed after hours. Aircons too noisy. Whatever makeover occurred it was cheap and nasty. There was also mould smells in the room and smoker smells for a non-smoking room which also had an ashtray. The staff denied there were ashtrays in rooms yet we have the photos to prove it. Car parking is limited for security purposes. The additional car-park has no surveilance and subject to break-ins. We were offered another room however late at night was too inconvenient to move up and down floors with the amount sports equipment which had to be keopt secured in rooms.
