Despite the fact that there was construction going on, and they apologized in advance, we never heard any noise. The dinner menu was a bit too Western for me...we didn't come to Japan to eat pasta or hamburgers...there were a few good Japanese choices. The breakfast buffet was excellent but a bit pricey. If you have the chance to buy it as part of a special room rate, it would be well worth it. I also like the proximity to the train station...no need for taxi, we just walked our luggage to the hotel. And it allowed for an easy day trip to Nara.
