We enjoyed our break. The hotel staff where so helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lot going for it. A stones throw from Waverly train station, a short stroll to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Central to everything from shopping to sightseeing. We were very pleased with our alloted room and hope to return sgain very soon!

Great location, very central and close to waverley train station. Polite friendly staff, room was slightly dated as was the shower but other facilities were good, iron, hairdryer etc. Good breakfast selection.
Very central, fantastic for Royal mile and Princess street. Only a 5 minute walk for Waverley station. Staff are so polite and helpful, beds comfy and clean. bathroom clean, excellent value for the money. It was very quiet at the back until the building work nearby started in the morning, ,you hear excessive banging, as the hotel is lower down it echoes around the valley in which it sits. I think that Edinburgh council should do more to control unnecessary noise pollution, like they do in London. This noise was nothing to do with the hotel! They are not responsible but perhaps they should complain and get the council to enforce more controls. Overall great value and fantastic location with friendly most pleasant staff!
