Ideal location after being at the Aboyne Highland Games. A hotel that is in desperate need of attention right throughout. Powerpoints didn't work in the bedroom area, had to ask for a kettle that actually worked, had to get help shutting the window, no power points in the bathroom, no hairdryer, no water provided. The bed was comfortable but this accommodation did nothing more than provide a bed for the night. We did not pay for a five star hotel but the basics were of a fairly ordinary standard. Breakfast was ok but the watchful eye of staff like security did nothing to improve the atmosphere of this stay.
