The room was spotless and all the usual hotel accessories (soap, shoe shines, shampoos, etc) were there and well presented. The service in the dining room for the continental breakfast was excellent with the staff being very accommodating to any questions and requests.
the hotel and the room was great. breakfast was included but was no mention that you had to pay if you wanted a cooked breakfast. Bar service in gaming room slow
I liked the overall experience
Wonderful stay in an historic hotel. Service was really friendly, quick and courteous. Breakfast deal can't be faulted. Ideal location for shopping and access to visitors tram and a 14 minute walk from the station. Rooms was neat, clean and bed firm. Hotel has marble staircase and lead light windows, a lift and balcony with views over the main street and Rosalind Park. Would definitely stay here again.
Reception at the Shamrock said tax invoices are available via the on-line booking although only receipts appear to be available.
