check in service was excellent. All sraff were very friendly. Location is great for football games. Breakfast was good.
This hotel is perfect for anyone going to a North Queensland Cowboys NRL match in Townsville as it is right opposite Cowboys Leagues Club which has buses running to 1300 Smiles Stadium. There is a Night Owl shop across the mall & places outside the hotel for breakfast lunch or dinner. not that the buffet was bad in any way! Stunning views, a rooftop pool (that for some reason was unfortunately always freezing) & a great location walking distance to the Strand & the Museum of Tropical Queensland.
Everything was great comfortable central. however the sound proofing is poor. On our second night there was a party occurring in one or two rooms above us. the music played all night and they seemed to be jumping around banging the floor.
