I booked an accessible room as my husband is in a wheelchair I emailed the hotel the week before to confirm this and I was confirmed one was booked. When we arrived there was no room available I let them see the email but they said only a standard room was available. As we were staying just one night and it's the nearest one to the airport we had to take it. The hotel waived the fee and tried to get a step for the bath they couldn't locate one so on the hole the staff did their best on the day
This is a very good Hotel overall, though when I checked in at the Reception, there as some doubt as to whether the Money / Funds had actually been paid to this Hotel. Luckily for me - I had a Printed Receipt of my original Booking ! I would certainly not have appreciated having to Pay a second time , as it was very definitely paid on the original Booking !
