Hotel stay was generally good except that the phone in toilet dropped twice, not surprising that it was stuck on the wall with a double-sided tape. Water stagnant after bath as the floor was not tilted downwards towards the manhole. Toilet flush not strong, once the toilet was choked and despite several calls, no one attended to it until the toilet was in a big mess. Despite calls from 11am, it was finally attended to at 3 AM the next day!! Housekeeping did not do anything to rid the toilet of the smell thereafter. Service at reception was good and so was the location. It would be good if a clear pathway can be drawn from the hotel towards the city centre as there are many road works around the hotel and a accident is waiting to happen. The security stationed at the other end should assist guests who are crossing the main road to and from the city centre but he is very comfortable with his seat and does not want to be helpful. There were plenty of guests as it was year-end but this is not an excuse for the slack in service. The breakfast period was chaotic, the hotel should have expanded the eating area and ensure prompt replenishment of food in view of the increased in guest traffic. Staff were not rude but lacked empathy towards guests.

Convenient location close to Imbi monorail station and nightlife. The staff were professional, friendly and informative. The room was clean, and the gym and pool were great. Great variety of food at breakfast.
it is very different now from when i last visited 5years ago. The bedsheet was dirty on my first night there. i made the room service change the sheets in front kf me the nxt day.
