Great location, service and last but not least great facility
The room and bed were huge and very comfortable. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. I asked about the best shopping mall to go to, and the reception staff told me City Center Mall was a 15 minute walk away. Luckily the doorman overheard and told me there was a free shuttle bus in a few minutes. 15 mins is not a long walk but in Doha heat it's not pleasant. City Center is the worst mall I've been to. it took a taxi driver to recommend another place to go to. housekeeping didn't know where the pool was, the restaurant staff didn't know where the fitness centre was and the fitness centre staff asked why I didn't have a local Qatari mobile number! How many international guests at a hotel would have a local phone number?? Navigating around 5 hotel towers was so confusing. and speaking of 5 towers, the pool area was way too small for that many hotel rooms.
Good location and facilities
I was very happy with the accommodation, the facilities, the food, accessibility and availability of transport.
room old and tired. stains on soft furnishings. lift area and walkway to our room was tired and poorly repaired. Horrible cooking smells as we walked to our room. man in next room smoked, we could smell it and coughed in morning so woke us up. The outside pool looked good but when I swam in it on two occasions saw mucus trails so never swam again. won't be going back.
