We have come here for the second time. For Hungarians, the name 'Gellért' is legendary, and it is not hard to see why. This majestic hotel still breathes the elegant grandeur of Budapest society more than a century ago. The baths are excuisite and palatial. Gellért's staff is of a class that has become rare - always friendly but never pushy, attentive, discrete and very competent. The breakfast is a selection of sweet and savoury dishes with a Hungarian touch. We will definitely come back many times.
