The Crowne Plaza is a great hotel, clean, well laid out, modern and with very pleasant staff. The room was spacious and the bathroom a good size. The WiFi worked well and was easy to get onto. Breakfasts were excellent with a really good choice and the bar was good. the Boddingtons was really nice! Minor niggles were shower pressure in my 4th floor room was poor and the extract fan took a long while to clear steam. No HD on the TV though it was otherwise good. These minor gripes didn't spoil the experience however. There are some decent restaurants within a short walk and it is only a 10 minute walk from the station.
