The location of the Main Resort on the beach where the restaurant, bar, two pools and main rooms was nice. We stayed in the “Rainforest Room” which I believe was not up to standard. There was rust in the bath, a power point which there was a limited number of, was broken meaning that it had become unattached from the wall causing it to be unsafe. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom which left the bathroom steamy after use and the shower head was extremely low. If someone was over 6ft it would be near impossible for them to use this shower. The pool in the “Rainforest Room” area was dirty and appeared to be left unattended without cleaning daily maintenance. The swipe access card that was given to us to access our and gain access to the gym that was located in the main resort area on level two did not work even after an attempt from a staff member at the reception resetting the card after several failed attempts. As we were only there for two nights I remained in the “rainforest room”, but if it was a longer stay and would of requested to be moved from the unhygienic and unsafe room. Positives were the restaurant was faultless and dinner was exceptional. If booking at this resort, do yourself a favor and don’t stay in the rainforest room as it appears to be neglected, rundown and not as described.
Good location. Usual facilities. Stayed in Rainforest Resort room which was basically a hotel room with balcony. Room was ok. Minor damage such as dirty grout and damaged lower door. Didn't look professional. Located over the road from the nice part of the resort. Poor parking. Staff not overly friendly. Got most of our info from locals at the shops rather than at resort.
the accomodation was comfortable and facilitiess great. the continental breakfast was generous and delicious. tge lication was perfect.
