A pleasant experience commenced with friendly and efficient reception staff. We did not avail ourselves of any food or drink as we had family to visit but the room was very clean with all the usual facilities and a comfortable bed.We were on the eighth floor with a lovely view and although there was a real gale blowing outside, the double-glazing was so effective, we didn't hear a thing. Total peace and quiet. If we had a criticism, it was the fact that the room was a bit short on the foot-of-the bed side. There was a shallow-in-depth surface to assemble personal belongings but no actual work space sufficient for me to sit at my laptop and work on papers. This was surprising give the high specification and location of the hotel (right by Almere Centrum station - Amsterdam and Schiphol airport both less than half an hour by fast train) which would be of interest to business users. Maybe we had an 'ordinary' room and there are others with more room and a proper workspace. That apart, a good experience and at a reasonable price. We would certainly book again.
