lovely breakfast ate dinner out. lovely modern hotel near to everywhere. Pity our rear room had tiny view of mountains and nearby property. No balcony And we were told to leave the marvellous roof terrace by 8pm because of health and safety. This could be a great facility. Staff very helpful
location to port & central areas was best part.
Hotelscombined found an excellent deal for four nights that included daily breakfast. We basically snagged a five star experience on a three star budget. Also, we had a rental car that we were able to park for free. Driving into Iraklion for the first time was a bit challenging because Google maps don't distinguish between one way streets. This was all the more reason that the fresh glass of tea, when we checked in, was so welcoming. The main attractions, the ferry port, and the bus terminal are all walking distance. The airport was an easy (after four days experience) 15 minute drive.
