The dual french balcony was a nice touch to the room. The room itself was rather spacious and had pretty much what one would expect. Would've been nice for the room to have a kettle though. Now the few negatives I noticed. The lighting in the room (excluding the bathroom) could've been better as it was done with standard lamps so it was somewhat dim when there was no natural light coming from outside. One ceiling light would likely fix the lighting. The bed was the hardest bed I can remember so that took each night some time getting used to (obviously we all have our own preference for the hardness/softness of the bed).
As we spent most of our time sight seeing and dining outside, location mattered most to us and that is why we booked this hotel. Unfortunately the rooms are simply not up to standard. The carpets were dirty and the furniture outdated and torn. There is little lighting in the room. That being said, the beds were comfy and the size of the room was great. I did not see any issues with the bathroom. The lobby is always busy (mainly because every night we stayed there was an event at their rooftop lounge ) and often the lift would take far too long to come so we ended up taking the stairs. We went to the rooftop lounge one night and can see why it is so popular; the music/atmosphere was fantastic! Recommend booking this in advance. Would I stay here again? Yes because you simply can’t beat the location.
