Head down to Lake Superior or bundle up for a midnight hike up Sugarloaf Mountain for the best chance of seeing the phenomenon.

Getting around Marquette
Downtown Marquette is compact and easy to get around on foot. The town is on the Upper Peninsula, a five-hour drive from Milwaukee and seven hours from Minneapolis. Local buses connect Marquette with major towns and cities in Wisconsin.
