In the summer months, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area still has plenty of outdoor activities to offer. There are 45 trails and over 100 kilometers of bike tracks in the resort’s bike park, while those who prefer to explore on foot will enjoy the area’s range of hiking opportunities.
Getting there
In winter, when Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is at its most popular, there are daily flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. During the rest of the year, you’ll need to drive. The closest major city is Reno, located just over three hours away.
