Getting around Kelso
Downtown Kelso is pedestrian-friendly and easy to get around on foot. The city is in Cowlitz County, a one-hour drive from Portland and 2.5 hours from Seattle. Rental cars offer the freedom to visit Kelso and explore the Mt St Helens area at your own pace. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is a two-hour drive away.
