For an intimate exploration of Hilton Head, explore the island on two wheels. There are bike trails throughout the area that are easy to navigate, allowing for a pleasant ride and easy discovery of its beaches, restaurants and parks.
The bulk of Hilton Head’s restaurants and shops lie near Palmetto Bay Road and Pope Avenue, between Coligny Beach and the Harbor River. Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte brings a splash of French cuisine to the island and Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse serves meat carved tableside in its upscale venue.
With 19 kilometres of beaches, Hilton Head is the ideal destination for water enthusiasts. Coligny Beach, in particular, is ideal for either lounging in the sunshine or taking a dip in the water. Getting around Hilton Head Island
Hilton Head is about 45 minutes from Savannah, with shuttles and taxis available from Savannah International Airport. A rental car is ideal on Hilton Head, especially if you plan to explore the area. A bicycle is also a pleasant way to get around from one attraction to the next.
