The Guelph Civic Museum is housed in an 1854 sandstone convent that's been transformed into a contemporary exhibition space. Inside you can view over 30,000 pieces, including 18th-century antiques, World War II memorabilia and First Nations artefacts. Downtown Guelph is easy to get around on foot, while flat terrain and plenty of bike paths make cycling simple. The city is also serviced by local buses and taxis. Buses and trains depart from Guelph Central Station in the heart of the city.
