I reserved a balcony room but was offered an upgrade. while the room was slightly larger, there was no balcony leading to my disappointment. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom but a big spot on the carpet at the foot of the bed. Ahaba were classy amenities. The breakfast buffet was terribly disappointing. The first morning I ordered an omelet which was a typical Israeli pancake made with eggs rather than a true french omelet. To add to the disappointment, the eggs were well done and cold! The buffet merely passed as adequate. For dinner, I had a lamb osso buco which was not really osso buco but delicious nevertheless. My partner had the grilled bass which was excellent. The wine list was mostly Israeli wines. I had a nice Famm cabernet which went perfectly wit the lame. Service was attentive nut the waiter complained that I put the tip on the charge because he only receives about 1/2 due to taxes and credit card charges. I'll know better next time
